Foul shot

With only a few more seconds left on the clock

The scoreboard with only a few

She was just standing there

Thinking

Focusing

Breathes

Waits

As a part of our writing we had to read Foul shot and then make our own poem built around Foul shot. We also had to make sure that each line was a new idea at that we used strong action verbs and two stanzas.

Aiming her body  

Positioned in a place

So the ball could be smacked into the goal  

As the ball comes swinging in

It scrapes the ground

Comes to a stop

Flinging of

In a different direction

Swoops

Flies

Just nicks the ground

And then

                            And then

                                                          And then

Out of the blue

The ball

Into the goal

With one kick

Through and in

Score
